Your Electric Meter Reading
Electricity is measured in kilowatts hours, or KWh. An electric meter measures the amount of electrical consumption in a given building so that it can be recorded. There are two kinds of utility meters: digital and analog. Digital meters display the recorded start and end quantum of electrical usage according to the reading dates for computation of costs in bold digits. Analog meters have five dials, with 0-9 digits and a needle to mark the reading for cost computation. For example, an electric meter on a hot water heater will record 4.5 KWh electricity in two hours, while a solar panel of only 2 KW will offer similar capacity.
